SE-DPin

A digital IO instrument with flexible timing, based on PXIe form factor and ATE instrument quality.

SE-DPin is platform independent and has a scalable architecture for post-silicon validation & DFT engineering. It is based on ElevATE’s Mystery ASIC, providing the capacity for high-density digital chip testing in any test environment.

From a hardware perspective, SE-DPin has many capabilities and interesting features, such as:

  • 200MHz IO technology
  • FPGA timing generator
  • Pin Electronics Drive/Compare/Load
  • 4 quadrant PMU per channel
  • High Voltage and High Speed operating modes

The Software side contains effective tooling to control the SE-DPin and run calibration & diagnostics on the instrument. Main features of the tooling:

  • Driver package with user API calls
  • GUI with debug panels
  • System monitoring and Firmware updating
  • Level and timing calibration
  • Functional and performance checkers
