DTX Platform

A complete DC & digital Bench-Test Setup to characterize your ASIC.

The DTX platform is highly flexible to configure your required setup in any preferred PXIe chassis. It offers both DC (power supplies) and digital testing options to quickly and easy bring-up your new silicon.

Test Lab in a Box:

Functional, parametric and shmoo validation in one setup to simplify your bench testing. Includes a complete set of tools for full control, automation and failure analysis.

Fast and easy silicon bring-up

Post-silicon validation & DFT engineering to validate patterns outside ATE. Validate your ASIC with JTAG, SCAN, BIST, I2C and other protocols.

Combine DC and digital with AC

Use the DTX together with the aTX7006A; the DTX timing hub and ATX DIO will perfectly synchronize both systems and fully automate your characterization bench setup.

Hardware:

  • DPIN32 and DPIN 64 PXIe modules
  • DPIN Hub for synchronization between DPIN modules
  • Apollo – 16-channel PXIe DPS module with low current measurement capabilities

Software

  • DTView: GUI controlled settings of parameter values per instrument
  • TestRunner: Digital test sequencer
  • Connection to EDA tooling (together with Siemens, see below)

Typical Flow

  • Tessent SiliconInsight generates STIL pattern
  • VelocityCAE tool converts to DPIN format
  • DPIN executes pattern and returns fail Information to Silicon Insight via ATE-Connect
  • Silicon Insight finds device faults or continues by generating next STIL pattern
