As the company grows, we are looking for a proactive Application Engineer to develop turnkey test solutions (hardware and software) for testing chips on ATE (Automated Test Equipment). With your expertise, and together with the customer, you will define the test strategy and find the best-fitting test solution based on the customer/chip requirements. • Set up and validate test strategies and methodologies and document this in an Electrical Test Specification (ETS).
  • Together with a PCB engineer, create hardware schematics for the interface between the ATE and the chip.
  • Develop turnkey, chip-specific test solutions to run on the ATE for testing ICs in production.
  • When requested, characterize the chip according to specifications and report the results.
  • Validate the whole test solution and report the results (GR&R).
  • Maintain close contact with the customer to discuss interim and final results.
  • Responsible for planning and report project progress to the Project Manager.
  • Support colleagues within the engineering team.

What we ask from you:
