Program Conversion
Salland Engineering also offers complete test program conversion of existing test programs from one test system to another test system. Conversions have been done between all major test systems like Teradyne®, Advantest®, HP®, Credence®, LTX®, etc.
Similar to the development of a new test program, installation at customer location, correlation and acceptance can be a part of this conversion project.
Vector Conversion
Salland Engineering also offers the test vector conversion from one test system to another test system instead of the complete test program conversion. The conversion of the test vectors is the major part of test software (in VLSI and memory applications) which needs to be converted. Salland Engineering offers two solutions for vector conversion:
The dedicated converter will convert the test vectors of the client's test program on a low cost basis. These dedicated converters are meant to convert only the test vectors for one specific test program. The other solution is a cross vector conversion software tool enabling the user to cross convert test vectors from one test system to another test system. This so called SE-Convert software exists of a common internal database with a number of input converters and a number of output converters. Conversions can be done from every input converter to every output converter. This may be restricted depending on the capabilities of the test system.
