SwifTest is a software-only solution for real-time monitoring, on-line action and adaptive test on a wide range of tester platforms. By design, SwifTest is transparent to operators, consumes negligible tester resources, supports multiple operating systems, and does not impact tester operation.
The diagram below illustrates how SwifTest runs under the ATE O/S without the need for any database interaction. A Device Profile is loaded at the start of a lot and contains instructions for the various applications like sampling rates, trigger actions, etc.
The system consists of the following optionally licensed modules:
SwifTest-AMX is our software-only Advanced Monitoring eXecutive at the heart of the SwiftTest family. It is used to capture test results and send them to TestScape. It can accept data in multiple formats and can be extended to process proprietary data formats.
SwifTest-MAX is a software-only subsystem that provides real-time monitoring and alerting using rules defined by the user.
SwifTest-TTO is Salland's industry-leading test time optimization tool based upon patented adaptive test algorithms and proven in high volume production since 2004.
SwifTest-FOX is used for Fast Outlier eXtraction at both wafer sort and final test. It supports basic PAT, DPAT and other advanced outlier detection algorithms. TestVision or TestScape-Optimize enable the user to analyze large amounts of data and determine the optimum outlier detection plan which is released wit the test program as a Device Profile.
SwifTest-DTI is the Dynamic Test Interface option for SwifTest that allows Product Engineers to customize adaptive test procedures than can improve quality and yield.
SwifTest-CCT is a module used to capture tester configuration information for use in TestScape-CCT for cell configuration tracking and planning.
