Today, many manufacturers are reducing cost of test by maximizing multi-site and multi-pin testing. Salland's High Density Analog Converter Test Option (HDACTO) provides an economical way to extend the number of source and capture channels on your Flex and uFLEX testers.
HDACTO is ideal for applications where the high performance of the BBAC is not required and the cost of the BBAC may be prohibitive. This includes markets like microcontrollers, audio, calls D amplifiers, baseband, automotive (tie pressure sensors), and industrial converters (ADC, DAC, switches and sensors.) It is pin compatible with the BBAC.
Instrument Capabilities
HDACTO can be configured in flexible ways by assigning 2 types of modules to the 8 available module sites. Each source module supports 8 source channels for a maximum of 64 source channels. Each capture modules supports 4 channel per modules for a maximum of 32 channels be HDACTO board. Any combination of these two modules is possible. See details of each to the right.
