| | | Salland is able to do the complete Firmware development from the functional description until the debugging on the actual hardware. The complete system is simulated using behavior models and test-benches that generate simulation data using ModelSim. In the >10 year expertise we have with XILINX components we developed a lot of firmware. The advantages of using FPGA’s are that it is flexible so the Time to Market can be short. It is also possible to do in the fieldupgrades to fix bugs. An FPGA is ideal for image processing, DSP functionality and high parallel processing. | | We use the graphical user interface EASE to generate our firmware. This is a graphical entry tool to enter the design in a graphical form so it is readable and can be used as documentation tool. The new types of FPGA’s have dedicated hardware onboard so the new FPGA’s become more and more System-On-Chip (SoC) devices. Salland is able to integrate these blocks to the functionality you want. Another service we offer is that we can replace existing logic by a FPGA. This saves PCB space and replaces obsolete components. | | | | |
