Salland Engineering's Vision

To become the world supplier of Test Optimization Products & Tools and Test Application Support

Mission back to top

We create solutions together with our customers to make testing easy and efficient, and create an environment where our employees can work using state of the art technology to expand their knowledge.
We try to find the best solution, together with ATE users and manufacturers for their test problems. All to build up a long-term relationship.
To reach these objectives, we are targeting a wide range of test optimization products to increase test-efficiency, creating new tools to make testing easier, and expanding our Test Application Group (TAG). Salland's greatest strength is the combination of test engineering experience and product development knowledge, which leads to new innovations and turn key solutions.

Short Overview of Test Automation Products (TAP) Activities

The TAP business unit is focussed on creating semiconductor test upgrade products. These products extend the lifetime of older generation automatic test equipment. Customers get reduction in test time or better control over their production process (production automation / central networking). Customers often get ROI with the new products within a couple of months.

For another third party (SRON, Space Research Organisation, The Netherlands) a test automation project for the space satellite instrument OMI (NASA EOS-CHEM mission) is under development.

Salland Engineering also offers development of Operation Systems and automation of test equipment, as well as interfacing solutions between several computer platforms and other equipment.

Short overview of Test Application Group (TAG) activities back to top

The main puprose of the TAG group is to deliver turnkey solutions for ATE users in the semiconductor market. In the semiconductor market, the major electronic manufacturers are using ATE systems, handlers and wafer-probers to test their components for the given device specifications and temperatures. Software is needed to test the devices and we deliver a serivce in generating software and interface hardware for various ATE systems.
